"Up and Undies" is a mobile initiative proudly sponsored by IPIO Inc. (I'll Pass It On), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to serving Chicago's communities. Our mission with this mobile program is to provide fresh undergarments and new toiletries to those in need, completely FREE of charge.
Wearing the same "crunchy" undies. and "funky" socks for several days/weeks is not sanitary.
Wearing the same undergarments and socks for extended periods is not only uncomfortable but also unhygienic. Our primary objective is straightforward: to distribute as many undergarments as possible to anyone and everyone in need.
Since 2006, IPIO Inc. has played an integral role in our community by offering a community art gallery, communal space, and a range of empowerment workshops. In 2017, with the introduction of the IPIO Inc. FOOD PANTRY, we expanded our reach, deepened our connections, and became an indispensable part of our community.
When the COVID-19 pandemic struck and necessitated the temporary closure of our food pantry, we adapted. We created a mobile outreach trailer to bring assistance directly to those in need, prioritizing health and sanitation in these challenging times. This pandemic has underscored the importance of maintaining safe and hygienic conditions while extending our resources to provide dignity and respect to those we serve. Your support is essential to our ongoing efforts as we strive to meet the needs of our growing number of families in need.
